Emerald Green Bridesmaid Dresses: Let’s start with a little inspiration: The many subtle shades of Emerald Green are captured beautifully by this image by JRSphotos.com below.
Emerald in any shade really gives an “anchor” and a great design base to any wedding. As always, the length you choose will help drive the look and mood you want to set. Choosing emerald green for your bridesmaid dresses will work in any length. We love how it can be dressed up or down to create any mood. The fabric really makes a difference with the color Emerald as you can see from the above examples. (Chiffon, Silk Dupoini and Taffeta above)
Using a structured dress design with textured fabric and adding a midnight navy heel anchors the look and makes a contemporary statement as illustrated in the above collage.
Let the fabric do the talking!!…Give the dress movement with texture in the fabric that you choose.
Pairing it with a neutral peep-toe heel simplifies and grounds the look.
….or go for a little darker shade …..
Choosing this shade of Emerald Green and adding the right accessories can add a little edge to soft traditional fabrics, still keeping the look romantic and timely.
Style tip: Remember when there is more movement in the dress and accessories, keep the shoe in a neutral or an understated metallic to keep the eye on the look as a whole.
Adding length to your dress choice with soft flowing fabrics (like Chiffon) will work beautifully in any season.
For Vintage, Emerald is lovely choice! It is such a classic option and still gives a bit of edge to the look.
(Ms. Davis always carries off the vintage look flawlessly!)
Going a bit lighter and adding your pop of color in the florals works so nicely for the late summer and autumn. Keeping this vintage dress short still keeps the look contemporary, especially with the right accessories!
Style tip: With Vintage, less is more. Keep the pop of color in your flowers. Choosing understated earrings, or a bracelet and muted neutral shoes, will keep the look clean and tied together
