Whether it be Poppy Red or Aurora Red – here are some Red bridesmaid Style, Inspiration, & Design boards for your wedding!
Wondering what color is Poppy? or Pantone Aurora? Whether it’s Poppy, Aurora, or Cayenne Red – here are some Red Wedding and Bridesmaid Dress ideas!
Whether you call it Bright Red, Poppy, Aurora, or Cayenne Pepper Red, it goes with anything. It’s easy to add accessories to change the mood of the look you are trying to create.
Downplaying the Red with muted neutral accessories in this fabulous image of Kate Moss keeps the look casual.
This bright red color for your bridesmaid dresses works great for any season too. This bridesmaid look could easily work for Spring, Summer, Fall, or Winter weddings.
This cute chiffon dress is a lovely choice for any season as well! Add a pair of contemporary strappy sandals to give the look a little edge – then counter the edginess of the shoes with a traditional bouquet of roses in a muted tone to add a touch of romance to your bridesmaids’ ensemble.
Here’s another traditional style bridesmaid dress in chiffon, but in a brighter-Poppy-red. We added a pair of gold Jimmy Choo strappy sandals and kept the bouquet traditional and in soft hues to keep the look romantic – even with the choice of the bright poppy red dress!
Here’s the same idea again, with a bright Poppy-red bridesmaid dress in a pretty strapless style. This time we added a pair of muted silver strappy sandals in a gladiator style.
Worried how this bright red hue will work with your bridesmaids? From the gorgeous Kerry Washington, to Kim Kardashian, to Jessica Alba, to Kate Winslet, as you can see from this image above, it works beautifully on all skin tones, complexions, and hair color.
Choosing a bright colored bridesmaid dress like Aurora Red – Poppy – Cayenne – doesn’t mean you can’t add more bright color in your bridesmaids’ accessories! We paired this pretty chiffon dress with a pair of Manolo Blahnik strappy sandals to add a little extra oompf to this bridesmaid look. Real Wedding Planner Advice: When adding another bright pop of color in your bridesmaids’ ensemble, keep your bouquet muted in similar hues to keep the look from overwhelming the eye.
Here’s another fantastic way to add a pop of color to your bridesmaid’s look using Aurora-Poppy Red. Add a dark purple pump with a coordinating color floral bouquet. Real Wedding Planner Advice: Keep your color choices to 2 (3 max) to keep your bridal party “look” clean and contemporary.
Love this lace overlay dress in Poppy-Red/Aurora-Red from Modcloth.
Real Wedding Planner Advice: If you are requiring your bridesmaids to wear a pricey pair of heels like Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, or Badgley Mischka (just to name a few) then look to non-traditional resources for your dresses to keep the price down for them (or for you if you are footing the bill for your bridesmaids). Modcloth.com has AMAZING sales and unique dresses to choose from. From Vintage, Country, Traditional, and Contemporary. Even before Modcloth joined our site as one of our paid advertisers, we have always loved recommending Modcloth.com especially for the Vintage Bridesmaid dress resource… they hit the mark every time. It’s easy to recommend them for a bridesmaid dress resource for our clients!
Here we have paired the lace overlay dress from ModCloth.com with a cute pair of pumps in pale turquoise. Love the bow on the heels and the muted pattern in the shoe. We tied in the pale turquoise in the bouquet with some pretty blue hydrangeas in the same tone.
Working the turquoise and red angle again, but this time, in a country-rustic bridesmaid look. We added a pair of rustic cowboy boots to add contrast to the pretty halter top bridesmaid dress.
For another great bridesmaid dress find from Modcloth, here is another idea for a Vintage Red bridesmaid dress in a country look. This cute short-sleeved, pleated A-line dress is adorable paired with rustic cowboy boots and country-styled floral bouquet.
Here’s another Vintage Red Bridesmaid dress idea! This Jones & Jones Audrey Lace dress has the trendy skater dress skirt and a pretty lace overlay bodice. We added a pair of peep toe pumps in minty-pale turquoise. Real Wedding Planner Advice: This pretty Vintage Red Bridesmaid dress has a lot of movement in its design and fabric. Keep your bouquet in the same color scheme as your dress and all in the same flower/petal. This allows for the extra texture in the dress, even when it is all 1 color. Adding your pop of color in the shoe still works if you keep the textures as muted as possible.
Here’s the same pretty Vintage-style Red bridesmaid dress, but this time we chose a mint green Mary-Jane platform pump and a simple mixed floral country-style bouquet to give this bridesmaid ensemble a contemporary country look.
Love this pretty red chiffon bridesmaid dress with spaghetti straps from Boohoo. This Heidi Strappy Chiffon Skater dress is also a great find and price!
Since we saved so much on the dress (it’s $30.00!!!) it left some extra money in the bridesmaid budget for a pair of fabulous Christian Louboutins with a lace-like laser cut in nude keeps the look traditional and elegant.
