What an amazing week at a wonderful LSE client’s private home!!
We had a lot of fun planning & designing with our client for this country-rustic-vintage wedding!!
Our wonderful client recently hosted a wedding for the cutest bride & groom!!
The bride & groom wanted a country-rustic-farm wedding … and we were happy to oblige!
Our client has a fantastic neighbor who let us borrow their vintage truck and car – amazing!! And a little baby goat (named Lily) to put the cherry on the top of the wedding. Unbelievable details for this one.
LSE just had to make baby goat Lily a special lace-y limoge colored color with a bling-y broach to make her feel special too.
Antique Limoge was the 1st inspiration note we had from our client, so it was only natural that we used it on the guest tables for the place-settings. For the glassware, antique champagne cupolas for the guests’ toasting and special bling-y champagne flutes for the B&G! …along with Rentals Unlimited’s new etched water glasses which mirrored the ivory patterned lace runners on the tables perfectly.
For the “lounge” … an antique bed with needlepoint pillows & quilted linens served as the sofa, and scattered antique ladder back and caned chairs completed the look.
Our generous client wanted to have a “ladies” and a “gents” area in the tent to create separate moods and gift areas in the wedding reception…
The “gents” area was created with specialty rentals and had a cigar, tequila & scotch section for an added touch. Gentleman guests found their “favors” in this area as well.
In the “ladies” area, the mood was much more feminine of course, with a lighter, softer feel to the décor. A candy “station” and main guest “gift” area anchored the space. Our client did not want any guest leaving empty handed, and to make this space functional, it was more of a “make your own gift bag” kind of feel.
The brides canned homemade pickles with guest name tags and the bride’s grandmother made the sweetest lavender sachets to add to the gift area. Beautifully wrapped soaps, taffy, violet pressed chocolates, candles, mini jellies and jams, gourmet teas, and the groom’s favorite nonpareiles were all included.
The bride wanted simple, country-style cakes with no decorations which a Pink Granny Cakes created…..
Red-Velvet, Carrot Cake, German Chocolate Cake, and Marble Cake – it really looked like a bake sale which added to the country-rustic vibe….
For the bar…. The adult “candy-shop” … :)… so many sweet little touches…..
…an antique cash register that our client’s brother restored not only for the reception, but as a wedding gift for the bride & groom…
….lemonade and specialty drinks along with the traditionally elegant Veuve Cliquot, wine and local beer.
To keep the campy-country vibe going, Juice Burger (food truck) provided a fantastic menu that ranged from Polenta fries to Grass-fed Burgers, Redfish Burritos, & Beignets, just to name a few menu items!
Our client has a wonderful design-eye and great taste, with a soft-elegant-shabby-chic style – we had a lot of fun working on bridging the 2 styles to make a country-rustic-vintage-elegance wedding!
We can’t wait to until the photos are ready from the bride’s photographer – Aphrodite Photography, but we do have a few teaser shots to share!
We hope you enjoyed these sneak peeks from our most recent wedding – we’ll write about it again soon… if you would like to see more details from this wedding, please visit Lisa Sammons Events facebook page and please visit LSE on Instragram...
