Winter Wedding-Boston-Real Wedding Planning-Part I
Elegant Elopement: Seaport Hotel: by Lisa Sammons Events
We’ve kept this wedding a secret for over a year!! With our clients’ blessing, we are so excited to be able to write about their beautifully elegant winter-wedding-elopement in Boston!
We were so honored that our client contacted us with her “special project” as she first called it….Privacy was #1 for this client as she wanted her wedding to be just about the 2 of them…so we have had a “Top Secret” on this LSE client file for over a year!!
Flashback to the beginning of the planning…4 months before the wedding date last December….Our client’s wedding colors were white & black with pops of reds. With a love of bling-y crystals and mercury glass along with bridal satin drape for her wedding …. LSE started with a quick inspiration board for our winter bride to start the planning process together.
As this wedding was not a traditional “invited guest” wedding, and since the bride & groom were not announcing their engagement (top secret wedding!) there was no need for an engagement shoot. BUT! The bride did want to have a Boudoir Shoot to create a beautiful “Little Black Book” wedding present for her fiance!
LSE scouted a fab location for the Boudoir Shoot that would lend contrast to the bride’s personal style of soft fabrics, satin, and of course lace-y lingerie!
LSE designed a set using soft ivory bridal satin against the rough-hune brick wall texture in this private location ….
We installed a few props…
while the bride-to-be was in hair and make up with our friends at Beleza Salon & Spa….
And did we mention our client is a model? Prepared as always, she already had examples of how she wanted her hair & make-up styled…which we forwarded to Beleza Salon & Spa before the shoot so LSE’s event production would run on time. Everything ran like clockwork… thank you to Beleza Salon & Rodeo & Co. Photography for going on the road for this shoot with LSE!
Gorgeous!! Hair and Make-up done! ….After LSE wrapped the Boudoir Shoot, Rodeo & Co. Photography went into editing and production for the groom-to-be’s “little black book” wedding present behind the scenes…
… and the bride & LSE went on to the rest of the planning! First up: Wedding Attire!
The bride’s dress & veil was from Newbury Street’s L’Elite Bridal in Boston~
and her sparkly strappy sandals were from David Tutera!
She even ordered these fabulous boots from UGG just in case it snowed on her wedding day….(for snow photos!)
The bride’s vintage fur was originally her mom’s… so sweet…
As were her beautiful tear drop design diamond earrings….
The combinations of the lace, vintage fur, & sparkly belt was absolute perfection!
Next up!…. Part II … the wedding weekend begins!!
