Navy Blue and Neutrals Wedding Portsmouth NH – Part I – Wedding Style –
Real Wedding by Lisa Sammons Events at Strawbery Banke Museum, Portsmouth, NH
We were so honored to plan & design our clients’ August wedding this year in Portsmouth, New Hampshire!…just love this bride & groom to pieces!!!
The very talented Rebekah Kay Photography captured the wedding beautifully. Love this post-wedding ceremony image at the Goodwin House at Strawbery Banke Museum. (ceremony site)
Navy-Blue and Neutrals were our clients’ wedding colors, and the bride’s “getting ready” venue was the perfect backdrop for the pre-ceremony photos.
Love the bride’s choice of Stuart Weitzman ivory strappy sandal. Absolutely perfect.
Bridesmaids all in Champagne J.Crew lace overlay dresses – love how the hydrangea and seeded eucalyptus in the bridemaid bouquets mirror the lace overlay in the bridesmaid dresses!
The groom’s suit and shirt were custom-made by Regan Clothiers. Beautifully done, with all the details the groom wanted. The custom monogrammed cuff-links were a surprise wedding present from his bride:) (more to come on the groom’s gift to his bride in part 2 of this article).
A little pre-photo-shoot (first look) liquid “celebration-time” for the gents…
Stunning….this Massachussetts Bride has such great style. Gorgeous Amsale wedding gown….
We had a lot of fun working with the bride on her flower design. After we sketched out some rough designs for our clients, we collaborated with F as in Flowers for the ceremony ~ and they designed and executed just as envisioned. Perfect backdrop to mark the ceremony area for the wedding. Just what the bride and groom wanted! Gorgeous garlands with beautiful and lightly scented white garden roses.
This bride knew exactly what she wanted for her bridal bouquet and bridesmaid bouquets. F as in Flowers created the bouquets, boutonnieres and statement floral pieces for the reception as well. The bride had her grandmother’s beaded head-dress from her wedding, which F as in Flowers wrapped around her bouquet for her. So sweet!
Love the way the fabric falls on the bride’s wedding gown and the groom’s bespoke suit. Perfection!
During the post-ceremony photos (private time for just the bride & groom) the bride had the idea of recreating their favorite image from their engagement shoot (also at Strawbery Banke Museum, Portsmouth, NH) – so we just had to put a “before and after” together!
This is just part 1 of this fabulous wedding in review – we can’t wait to write part 2! Coming up next- more wedding style and reception details! and for more of this wedding in the interim, please visit Rebekah Kay Photography’s blog!
