Wedding Shoes for Brides
-Ideas Part 2
Let’s talk about Shoes!
For Part 1 of our article about Wedding Shoes for Brides please visit our Real Wedding Planner Advice Page.… This segment (part 2) will be about pairing wedding shoes with beautiful wedding dresses and bouquets and how to make unique fashion statements along the way…
If you have visited our site before and have read our bridesmaid dress articles, you’ll know we love to talk about fashion, texture, and accessories. We love this neutral-base wedding dress with all it’s beautiful textured design.Having a “textured” dress doesn’t mean you have to simplify your wedding shoe choice. This snake-skin styled strappy-sandal-booty is a perfect choice for the above wedding dress!
However, the more texture you have in the actual fabric of your wedding dress, you will want to tone down your shoe “texture” a bit. A little subtle texture is a-okay though! These Stuart Weitzman strappy sandals in muted gold are the perfect match for this wedding dress. Remember to keep your bouquet all in one soft floral petal choice (texture again) to tone done your ensemble’s movement.
Here’s a gorgeous Pronovias Wedding Dress with a little sparkly belt… how sweet to pick up the “bling” in your bridal shoes. With the clean lines of this dress and Jimmy Choo strappy sandal, you can have a little more freedom in the texture of your bouquet too…
So many brides love fuchsia or hot pink… they want it in their wedding, but aren’t sure how to introduce it. Embrace it! If it’s hot pink that YOU like, than why not have hot pink shoes and a bouquet? It is all about you afterall on your wedding day. You don’t have to make all the groomsmen where hot pink, or have hot pink tablecloths. It’s this simple: Add a fab pair of hot pink Jimmy Choos, a hot pink peony bouquet, and you’re in business.
The Vera Wang wedding dress is stunning, and we love the subtle splash of lavender in the wedding dress’ sash. Instead of choosing the obligatory silver metallic shoe with this look, you can easily pair a sparkly purple peeptoe shoe for your wedding shoe to tie your look all together.
Wearing a shorter dress and worried that your purple shoe choice might be too much? Look how cute this will look with the right bouquet!!
Love red? Not a problem. Coordinate your bouquet with subtle pops of red for fall/autumn weddings.
We love this boho-chic lace wedding dress with teal suede pumps. Ask your florist to add a little teal-hued succulent to your bridal bouquet to tie your look together. So beautiful!!
Christian Louboutin brings the drama to shoes… so if you are going to glam it up, these neutral-sparkly pumps are the perfect choice.
Are you a country-rustic-vintage bride? Simply choose a gorgeous cowboy boot that mirrors the texture in your dress. Imagine how comfortable you will be wearing these cowboy boots too!
No need to break the bank on your wedding shoes, especially if you already spent more than you were planning on your wedding dress. Modcloth has some adorable shoes that can easily work for wedding shoes, not just for brides either! These cute blue suede t-strap heels are the perfect accent to this fringe and beaded wedding dress.
Another beautiful dress, in blush this time, matchy-matched with blush wedding shoes – so romantic!
And for the last Wedding Style, Inspiration, & Design collage, we chose a pretty lace wedding dress with a simple boat-neck collar. Imagine the groom in gray or black… Tying the whole wedding-style together adding a soft gray suede Jimmy Choo peeptoe pump for the bride. Add a little gray accents in the bouquet … and perfection!! Remember, it’s all in details!
